One of the highlights of my workday comes in the morning: a fresh, soothing cup of steaming-hot tea. I sip the tea, savoring the heat and flavors while they last, then I set my cup down and get to work. As last drops of liquid evaporate, swirls and patterns form in the residue that is left behind. Unlike my days, which are fairly predictable, I never know what I will find at the bottom of my cup; each new steeping is different, and beautiful in its own way. And then the next morning, I wash it all away and begin again.
