Subject Alatyr and his story
Harp asks"
"Alatyr, could you determine from your brief view of the attackers how they were armed? Light? Heavy? Bows? Were they mounted? I realize that you did not get a great look at things, but anything that you might be able to remember would be of great help."

I am hoping that every one, except my heartless brother, was so moved by my scene of Alatyr and his horse that they are unable to write a response. ;)

Subject Alatyr and his story
Fal eats as he listens to Alatyr tell his story. He wonders if anyone from the caravan is still alive. Fal asks if there is anything he can do before he turns in for the night. If not, he'll go to bed, so he can be well rested in case the group encounters any more orcs tomorrow. He'll rise early and study his spell book before the others get up.

Trust me all - if you had had to spend 41 years in purgatory as I have, you would have become as heartless as I have become.
Next time, try to write a scene that actually tries to convey some emotion instead of falling back on the poor writers cannard of the dead animal. Been there, done that.

Subject Fal
Bel turns to Fal and says " Fal, I didn't say this earlier, but good work with that sleep spell during the fight. Once I noticed that a few of the Orcs were down I knew I didn't have to worry about which ones to keep alive during the fight.

Subject Fal
"Thank you for the compliment. I felt that we would stand a better chance if at least a few of the orcs were unable to fight. I only wish my archery skills were as well developed as my magic." Fal says "Bel, you did well in battle, too. "
