Opening the door
Subject The assualt
As everyone's making their last preperations, Kal seperates himself from the group and finds a quiet place to pray. He kneels solemnly, lays his sword in front of him, and begins his prayer.
"Thank you for this challenge, I will not fail. This evil beast will fall and the enemies forced shall be weakened. I am your servant, and I will not fail."
Kal leans over, kisses the hilt of his blade and puts it back in the sheath. He rises and rejoins the party.

Subject Dragons
Allistair speaks up. "Harp's assumption is correct, from what I have learned about dragons. As a hatchling they are quite small, (T) and increase in size as they grow with age. An particularly ancient and powerful dragon is almost unbelievably large and powerful. (G) I greatly doubt we are dealing with a dragon that powerful, somehwat because it wouldn't fit in the room, (although we don't know for sure how big the room is) but mostly because the dragon had only rudimentary abilities of speech, which would be more typical for a younger, and hence less intelligent, dragon.

Subject Turn
I am going to go home tonight, eat dinner and then work on the turn.
This week has been hell at work. I have done 24 quotes in the past three days. I usually do not do that many in a week. I have had to cover for three others here in the office as well as watch the front door and do kitchen duty.
I hate the week between Christmas and New Years. :)

Subject Opening the door
Surin and Mund creep forward to the door. They both notice the slight chill in the air but it is nothing like Surin felt the last time he was down here. Taking extreme care Surin manipulates the latch that is keeping the door shut. He then pushes the door open, just a few inches (Move Silent check 17+14=31, Listen check =?). The door swings back silently until there is about a 6 inch gap. Surin signals to Mund and the two make their way back towards the party.
Ragnar and Harp then move up to the door, trying to be as quiet as they can. Surin cringes at the clanking sound that Harp makes (Move Silent, Harp 6+2=8, Ragnar 18, Listen check =?) When the two get to the door they look in. The room is huge and dimly lit by small glowing bricks placed 40 feet up in the wall every 50 feet or so. From where they are they can only see the one wall, the east one. The far wall looks to be almost 100 feet away. The ceiling looks to be over 50 feet high. The can not see much to the left of the door since the door itself is blocking their view. A waft of cold air comes from the room and in the dim light the two clerics can see small piles of snow or ice close to the far wall. Nothing can be seen.
The two move back towards the party and report the lack of anything visible. "Well" Harp says,"we know it is there so I think we might as well go in. Every one ready?" Looking around he sees everyone nod. He counts off three and the the prayers are started. Harp asks for Mund to be able to resist cold, Salix asks Obad Hai to protect Ranthir from the effects of cold and Ragnar asks that Kal also be able to resist the effects of cold (Protection from Cold on Ranthir, Resist Cold on Mund and Kal). Ragnar then grasps his holy symbol and traces a circle around the party while chanting the prayer for Protection from Evil. A slight glow surrounds the party and Ragnar nods that they should be ready to go.
OODM: OK I need to know how the party is going to enter, in what order and what they are going to do once they are in the room. I have included an updated map that shows you how much Ragnar and Harp were able to see.

Subject going in
Harp describes the room as the group prepares to enter. " I think we should enter with Ran, Mund and Kal in the front, myself and Salix on either side of Ragnar, and Surin and Allistair taking the rear. Surin, keep an eye behind us and above - I don't know if this thing can fly, but I don't want to get caught with it coming in behind us."
OOC:Ok everyone?
