Harp watches as the melee grows more intense. He is amazed at Ragnar's ability to withstand the onslaught of the trolls, pushing one back after another. He was doing exactly what Harp had hoped - only better. He hoped that he had not put too much on the shoulders of the dwarf. The best thing Harp could do was to take down this troll in front of him. These things were not that hard to hit, but they sure were big and strong. With that, Harp takes another swing at the troll in front of him.
OOC: Mark, I do not know if Karl is back yet, so I am writing an action for Salix. If Karl is back, he can override this.
Two down, three to go, Salix thinks to himself. He had ended the threat from the first troll to fall, and Ragnar had taken care of the second one. Now he had two options - wait here and try to do some damage, or withdraw and see what help he could give to Ran. Ran was the better fighter, and it looked like Harp and the others had these things bottled up pretty well. If he was carefull, he could get over to Ran and help him get back in this fight. OOC: Salix will ready use Total Defense as his standard action and ready a move action for when the troll at the door falls. He will move over to where Ran is (or as close as he can get). Does that make sense?
OOC: Great round. Ragnar is rocking this turn. Stopping 2 bull rushes, hitting, cutting off heads. Keep it up little guy.

I'm back, but that sounds fine to me, so let's go with that. Salix intends to deliver the potion Harp gave him as soon as possible so Ran can get back in the action.

OOC: Harp is really jealous of Ran and Mund's abiility to attack 2 times per round. Next level up he goes 4th level fighter, and he had enough BAB to get that.

Is the troll Mund just hit down and regenerating, or still up and fighting? Normally the comment "does not die" would mean he's still up, but these are trolls, so its a bit ambiguous :)

He is still up, but just barely, as one would expect with an open head wound that exposes the brain. :)

Ran, still in a lot of pain, shakes his head a little to try to clear it. He vaguely hears Harp tell Salix to bring him another potion and decides that it is for the best for him to just wait for that, moving closer if Salix can't make it all the way to him.

Mund almost painicks when the troll starts pushing him back in order to get at his brother. Luckily, the dirt-grubber stops it, allowing Mund to come back with an effective attack.
Mund holds the line and kicks some butt.

Allistair is amazed at the flurry of blows that are exchanged between the trolls and his friends. So far his friends seem to be getting the upper hand, but he wasn't even sure how many more of these creatures were still in the next room. Allistair moves around trying to get another shot in with a fireball. If that fails then he'll use his last magic missle.

Hack, slash, stab... Last round make Ragnar realize now is not the time to be abandoning the front line.

If T4 is dead by Kal's action he'll step to square T2 and shoot a missle off at Troll T3. If the thing isn't dead he'll take his 5 foot step in, attack it, and then move to square T2.
Applying his dodge bonus to T4.

You can not take a 5 foot step and move any other distance in the same round.

Round 4 Initiative: Surin (17), Salix (15),Harp (15) T2-5(15), Ranthir (12), Ragnar (11), Allistair (10), Kal (9), Mund (9)
Surin stands behind Kal hoping that the elf will move and give Surin the better position.
Salix sees that Harp and the others seem to have things well in hand and waits for the troll in front of them to fall before heading over to help Ranthir. He grasps the healing potion in his hand and does his best to make sure the he is ready if the troll attacks him.
Harps confidence grows as another of the trolls falls. Although he is still worried about how Ran is doing he turns his attention back to the troll in front of him and attacks again. His sword glowing faintly, he slashes at the troll and (AC16, 18+14=32, hit, damage 9) cuts it down where it stands. The body falls on top of the other two and slides off to the side of the pile. The door is now partly blocked by all the troll bodies. As the troll falls, Salix makes his move, rushing next to Ran, healing potion still in hand.
It seems that the other trolls have learned something from the head long charge of the first two. Taking a small step forward one of the remaining trolls (T3) reaches through the door and claws at Ragnar (AC26, 9+9=18, miss, 3+9=12, miss) but the dwarf is easily able to evade the clumsy attack of the larger creature. With an ungodly flexibility, the troll cranes it head around the corner and bites at Harp, (AC21, 6+4=10,miss) but the 1/2 orc gets his shield up in time and all the troll gets it a mouth full of steel.
Ranthir sees Salix rush to his side, holding out the potion bottle. Grabbing it from the druids hand, he pops the cork and swallows the liquid down (Heal 4). This potion must have been one of the older ones as it does not seem to do as much good as the first. Or it might be that he was not in as much danger as before.
Ragnar is torn as to what to do, advance and attack the troll in the door or make sure that the one at his feet stays down. Making his decision, he braces himself for the attack he knows will come when he lets his guard down, he swings his sword at the neck of the third troll (AOO from troll T3, AC26, 10+9=19, miss). As the claws of the troll in the door way scape at his armor, Ragnar beheads the troll at his feet.
Allistair is not sure what to do. He has a fairly good shot at the troll in the door, but there is no way to position the fireball behind it so that its blast would not fry his companions. Deciding to hold of for a few more seconds, and since they seem to be doing so well, he chants the words for his last mage arrow of the day with predicable results (Damage 10).
Kal hears Surin behind him, asking him to move. Move? In combat? But the little halfling is insistent, so Kal lunges with his rapier (AC16, 5+12=17, hit, damage 8), twirls away as he pulls his sword free and moves back a few steps, next to the dwarf.
Mund looks and sees that there is nothing for him to attack unless he moves towards the door. That puts him in the same position as the trolls were in and he saw how that worked out. Looking at Harp he asks "Charge or stay?"
OODM: end of round. I need round 5 actions. New map attached.

Alright. Kal will step back to T2 and do nothing this round. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to hold action until the beginning of next turn (so I skip this turn but improve my init for the rest of the turns) but If I am Kal will that. Otherwise just the step back, I'm not gonna use a spell at this point.

Harp watches as another of the trolls falls at their feet, Ragnar making sure that it would not rise again. Then, he finds himself in an odd situation - there is no opponent in front of him. He hears Mund's shouted question "Charge or Stay?"
How he wanted to charge in and hack these foul things to death. But, they wer bigger, stronger, and so far, letting them come to the group had worked well. With a quick thought, Harp responds
"Step up to the door way, but don't cross. Be ready to fall back."
With that, Harp takes a small step up and takes a cautious swing at the troll on the other side of the door.
OOC: Mark, 5 ft step to S4, fight defensively (+2 to AC, -4 to attack). He will motion Mund to move to S3. I know he and Mund will block the way, but Kal may still be able to get another MM through the door before Mund moves.
