Round 8
Subject Round 8 actions
Harp, in the heat of battle, wants to charge the troll with Ran and Mund leading the way, Harp behind since he knows they are the better fighters.
Harp has learned that these things regenerate and if they leave the troll alone, he will be able to come back at full strength. Instead, if they attack now, they can knock it unconcious and then cut its head off. Leaving a troll to regen is a BAD idea, even if there is only one of them.

As Mund's axe fells the last troll in the door way Harp can see the the other one is trying to clear room between the party and itself. His commands are quick and decisive. "Go after it. Ran first, Mund you follow. Ragnar, finish of this troll. Move, now!"
Ran responds as the years of training take over. Moving with deliberate care, he advances on the remaining troll, which has turned to face the party. As he closes on the troll it swings at him in a blur of claws and teeth. (AC25,AOO claw 3+9=12,miss, AC21, claw 8+9=17,miss, claw 2+9=11,miss, bite 17+4=21,hit, damage 7). The 1/2 elf is ready for the claw attacks and ducks underneath them, but is caught off guard by the bite. He then launches himself at the troll with an upward thrust (AC16,1+11=12, miss). His first thrust misses as the troll moves to the side, but Ran is able to spin and cut on the backstroke (AC16, 11+5=16, hit, damage 4)
Mund, an orcish battle cry on his lips, moves next to Ran, his axe a blur. He catches the troll off guard with his first swing, bringing the blade up from the below and catching the troll in the groin (AC16, 19+12=31, damage 14). The blade cuts deep through what would be the most sensitive part of most humanoids and the thing falls to the ground with a loud thud. Mund pulls his axe out and swings again, (AC14, 12+7=19, hit, damage 11) this time opening up the belly of the monster.
Ragnar takes his sword and starts to behead the troll blocking the door. As he starts, he notices that the head, almost split in two by Mund's axe just a few seconds before, has started to pull itself back together. The eyes still glow with a malevolent light. Quickly, the dwarf severs the head from the neck and the light in the eyes slowly goes out.
Ran quickly does the same to the troll the he and Mund just cut down.
OODM: Fight is over. Let me know what you want to do.
