Chapter end, leveling up, classes

Subject Chapter end

OOC: The mail server at school was down all day yesterday, so I didn't have any email access at all. Still, Allistair didn't have anything profound to say for the debriefing, his comments would have echoed most everyone else's.

IC: Allistair is hard pressed not to start immediately playing with the magic items that Lothnar gave him. He does succumb to the urge to take the ioun stone and release it in front of his face, watching it make an orbit around his head before he snatches it up and puts in the bag he received.

If there is still serious conversation going on about the prophesy, etc., Allistair will ask if they know anything about this descendant of Mesodar that is supposed to fulfil the dark prophesy.

Anglewing replys "We do not know who he is. He might have appeared to several of your comrades in a vision several weeks ago. You would have to ask them more about that. The person in the vision might also be some one working for a more powerful being. We really do not know yet. However, Lothnar also sent some information that might make the prophecy we have more clear in certain places. It will take much work on Brother Orlpar's part."

Anglewing speaks up for the whole group to hear. "I would like you to be my guest here at Gorn for the next few weeks. You can stay here in the Chapter House, but if you feel that to be too restrictive, you may take residence in the city itself. After you have had some time to rest and repair your gear and see the city, I might have more work for you, if you are intersted." He signals that the party is free to leave, but pulls Kal aside. "We need to talk. Please return here tomorrow morning at the second bell." His tone leaves it clear that this is not a request.

If Ranthir is not debriefed by Angelwing he will immediately seek him out after his debriefing. Otherwise, these comments will be made during the debriefing.

"My friend, I want you to know that Harp fulfilled his role in this mission very well. He was able to keep many things from fracturing by insisting that disputes be left until after the goal was accomplished. Several of the party became concerned with the apparent slaughter of creatures that we were partaking of. Especially when we took the aggressive stance and did not consider peaceful resolution."

"Kal in particular rushed forward in one situation where some of us were trying to communicate and enable a non-violent resolution. I believe that Kal thought he was doing what was right but I did not agree with his action and feel that it was wrong for him to do. He is a great warrior but his aggressive nature could cause problems in the future.

He seems to be learning from his experiences with us but I do not know if he can keep his rage in check. I still feel anger towards him for his rash actions but as you know, I have had my own problems with rashness in the past and so I am willing to pursue forgiving him and hope that I can find my own peace with him. I do not know how the rest in the party feel at this time. Despite the anger that some of us felt with Kal, Harp was able to keep us working as a unit and I attribute that fully to him. He is a worthy leader. He still doubts himself a lot but I think that his confidence is growing. He still needs help, but his doubts sometimes seem to help him make the right decisions. I am greatful to have the opportunity to work with him."

"Now to other matters. How is my fathers health? I would like to see him as soon as possible."

"Ran, thank you for that information. I will talk to the elf. "

Anglewing continues on a lighter note. "Your father is actually doing better. I will not say he is fine, whatever the poison was took a terrible toll on him that he may never fully recover from. However, go see him for yourself. You have the rest of the day, I should say the next couple weeks to yourself, if you wish."

Subject Leveling up, interlude

Over the next several days I would like each party member to write up something to reflect their leveling up. 7th level is fairly major for all spell casters, as they get a new spell level. Take a look at Karl's write up back in Mid July of last year to get an idea of what I am looking for. If you want to run something by me first, just to make sure it does not violate some grand scheme that I have, that would be great. If you need to use NPC's let me know and I can do that part.

The party is going to have about two weeks in town until the next chapter starts. I will work with Josh about the problems with Kal but I have a pretty good idea of how that will be handled. The party will be involved, at least as witnesses.

I will e-mail everyones new hit points later. If you want to go ahead and update your character sheet on Sakeriver, please do so, changing class level, BAB, weapons used, spells gained, skills changes, etc. When done let me know and I will review.

Thanks and let me know if you have any questions.

Subject Classes

I need to know what classes everyone is going to take.

I know Harp is going up in Fighter.

I assume that Allistair will go up in Wizard.

I assume that Ragnar will go up in Cleric.

I assume that Salix will go up in Druid.

I assume that Kal will go up in Bladesinger.

I assume the Surin will go up in Rogue.

I assume that Ranthir will go up in Fighter.

I am not sure what Mund will go up in.

Let me know one way or another please.
