A familiar face

Subject A familar face

Harp watches the little keep fade away in the distance. He had asked Halpin to include a message to Anglewing with the next courier. They had made excellent time - this was not a sight seeing tour - this was vitally important. He wondered how he would fare out in the open - his vision gave him some advantages underground, but his size had been a problem before - he just plain got noticed. Well, with his new armor, he didn't sound like a bunch of swords banging against a their shields.

As they ride, Harp pulls up along side Mund and Allistair. "Mund, do you think you could teach me some basic orc? It might come in handy some time. I never learned it growing up - my mother was afraid to let me learn much about my father or his people. I respect her reasons, but at least knowing a bit of the language may come in useful."

OOC: Mark, Harp will also try to engage Kal in some conversation. If Kal is in the least bit amenable to some, I can write up the start of that talk.

Harp is riding with his buckler on his left arm, his sword in his scabbard, his bow strung across his back, and a quiver with 20 arrows. He has 60 more arrows in his pack. I am still working on updating Sakeriver with my skill points, but given his lowly amount and limited applications, that is not that big of a deal. Did we get any more healing potions or scrolls from the Order before we left? I know that I was going to have Harp buy a number, as well as some other basic travelling tools (grappling hook, some more rope, etc.). I will try to have that stuff completed and updated by tomorrow night.
