OOC - Pretty smart. Where did you learn all this stuff?

(OOC: I'm making it up as I go, imagining with all my might that I'm a three foot tall, paranoid, skittish, half beast-man who's being hunted in the woods. :)

Well I must say you are doing it superbly. I'd trust you with my life were I in Farron's position, though I guess were I in Farron's position I'd kinda HAVE to.

(OOC: :-D Thanks!)
(OOC part deux: Forgot about hustling!)
Rennik would keep the party on a pretty careful pace until they were at least 100 yards or more into the jungle, trying to disturb as little as possible of the foliage and terrain. Once deep enough in, he would start moving the party at a hustle for that hour, with Garyth splitting off from time to time.
During the start of the hustle, he would be sure to lag behind, dragging one foot. He would then run at the front of the group with Tichenor. At the front of the pack, his footsteps will likely be trampled upon - halfling footprints with a limp, then no halfling footprints while they ran, then halfling footprints with a limp,...perhaps the tracker might think he'd been carried that distance.
Also, he would have the best chance of noticing changes in the jungle that might mean danger while they are running, and he would be able to pick a path that might afford them both safety and at least some confusion to their pursuers.

Rennick's plan sounds good to me.

Preferrably, whoever has the best Spot check would run up front with him. :) Rennik's only got a 5 check.

This, not being in Cadfael's comfort zone, is all fine and well with him. And is happily happening at a time when I have very little free time. Good timing, Ty.

Farron will just follow Rinnik's directions. Aside from keeping a paranoid eye out for any dangers his actions will be "do as he is told" until the next major event from our DM. During this time he keeps pretty much to himself. He responds if spoken to, but doesn't try to make chitchat.

Sa'id will also be following Rennik's directions.
