Osred Starts Organizing

Subject: Re: The Race for Overlook

The discussion thus far has left me more or less convinced that a delaying action would be disastrous. I think our best bet is to get on the road as quickly as possible and hope for the best. Garyth will want his group in the vanguard to try to clear the path of any small groups of undesirables and/or steer the herd around any large groups. We'd also want a good-sized rear guard, but I don't think splitting the party is a good idea. Anyway, unless someone can convince me otherwise, this is what Garyth will be doing.

OOC: Unless, of course we are supposed to go to Garrets farm and save that guys family. :)

Garyth doesn't know about that yet. Speaking of which, I wonder if Garyth's own family made it into town before they closed the gates.

Ty, I got your IM with concerns about spring attack and Tumble-- sorry I haven't been able to reply.

Whatever you decide (as far as rules) is fine with me-- if you decide that Tumble and spring attack cannot be used together, and Pensive cannot use his reach attack and then move, he will try to lead the men out to the alleyway (using tumble). If the men instead run, Pensive will attack them, focusing on the closest one to him first.

"We should begin organizing now so we are on the road when this hour is up."

Osred will head to wherever we're leaving from and start organizing as people start arriving. He'll also try to talk anyone out of carrying anything that looks unnecessarily heavy as we can't afford to slow down.
