Salix motions for everyone to dismount. None of them were trained to ride in battle, as far as he knows. "We need to check this out, but we should go in on foot.

Sorry, didn't know.

"Mund, lets leave our horses here and head in on foot to take a look. I'll see if I can get Ran's attention and the three of us can take a look while the other stay at the edge of the clearing"

OOC:Harp will try to get Ran's attention and signal his intentions (Ran to come up and join Mund and Harp) and have the others stay back a ways to provide cover as needed. If Salix has Allistair turn Surin invisible, Harp will have no problem with that, assuming he even knows about it.

If Salix indicates somehow that he wants to do something different, then Harp will suggest to Mund that they hold back until they hear what Salix has in mind.

Salix gave Harp/Mund point, so he'll be OK with them deciding what best to do at this point, though he is still going to send Surin in invisible if he's willing. Seeing Harp and Mund head in cautiously, Salix will motion for the remaining members (besides Surin) to wait at the edge. Salix dismounts and draws his scimitar.
